In meditation, it’s closing the eyes and becoming more aware of the moment—whether that’s tuning to the space between your thoughts, a sensation on the skin, or the pulse of your heartbeat. The heart is the largest source of bio-electricity in the body and it creates an electromagnetic field around the body. The size of this field changes based on your emotional state. Basically, your mood is encoded in the heart’s magnetic field.... which is how you can Gauge the vibe of someone else without them saying a word. The feet are full of sensory receptors that transmit information to your brain and body, and yoga is one of the best tools to enhance the quality of information you absorb with them.
