    Basic skills on the yoga mat include even pressure distributed through both feet in mountain pose or a fluid Sun A. In meditation, it’s closing the eyes and becoming more aware of the moment—whether that’s tuning to the space between your thoughts, a sensation on the skin, or the pulse of your heartbeat. What are you trying to master? And what basic steps are you deliberately repeating today to express the best version of yourself in those actions?

I’m almost done with the final draft of my upcoming book (details coming soon). Mastery in my writing comes from putting words to paper daily. I love the many aspects of this life journey. What about you?

    The heart is the largest source of bio-electricity in the body and it creates an electromagnetic field around the body. The size of this field changes based on your emotional state. Basically, your mood is encoded in the heart’s magnetic field.... which is how you can Gauge the vibe of someone else without them saying a word. Today, I encourage you to expand your field from a place if alignment... from a place of inner knowing or satisfaction. Not feelin’ that right now?     Don’t you just love that feeling of sinking your feet into warm, soft sand? The feet are full of sensory receptors that transmit information to your brain and body, and yoga is one of the best tools to enhance the quality of information you absorb with them. The feet are also an anchor point that help you focus in the present moment. I use awareness of the feet in my lower grounding loop meditation to stay calm and grounded.
